Bobolink in Harney County by Nick Viani

My wife and I happily joined our daughter camping in Summer Lake (where it snowed on us) and completed a mini Spring Fling at Page Springs. That snow evidently killed off an early mosquito hatch in Harney County, so walking the Patrol road north of Pi Ranch was delightful at dusk. Several Bobolinks were active on roadside shrubs and didn’t seem to mind us enjoying their songs.
