Errata Table for Birds of Oregon: A General Reference (2003, 2006)

Note that this table does not update the contents of the book to current taxonomy, ecological knowledge or population numbers. This table is only meant to correct errors in the original publications. Shortly after publication of the 2003 book, Matt Hunter maintained an errata page online for several years. Most of the corrections compiled over that time were included in the 2006 reprint of the book. However, corrections continued to be received and “filed” but were eventually lost to the march of technology and busy lives. Matt’s original website became obsolete and was taken down. Corrections received from others were backed up on CD/DVD disks that were not looked at for many years. A recent request for an erratum spurred Alan and Matt to resurrect and update the errata. Oregon Birding Association has volunteered to host the errata table.
