American Bushtit in Multnomah County by Sandy Leaptrott
(This) female Bushtit… momentarily lost her flock and was calling loudly. I think she was watching me instead of where her buddies were going. It took about 5 minutes for her to find her flock. It is amazing how much tension such a little body can convey. This bird might be molting. In a different photo of this bird I noticed she is missing the third/longest tertial feather.
